I have spent a working lifetime in engineering, as an employee and a contractor, the bulk of it in test and development which calls for a great deal of problem solving.
I came to the theatre world fairly late, having spent many years of spare time in railway preservation and other heritage pursuits. Family links (my daughter has been performing since school days) brought me in to our local theatre and it is fair to say it has now taken over my life.
I love the challenge of creating something for performers to use and hopefully enhance their performance. I find the creative process endlessly fascinating. The producer's tentative ‘Can we’ is music to my ears.
